“An Adventure”

The happiness I had when I got accepted for this program was overflowing. Grabbing an opportunity to be a representative of my school is something that I will never forget as this will be one of many adventures in my life that I will partake in. The knowledge that I will acquire from this program is something that I will be able to apply in all that I will encounter, academic-wise or not.

This is my fourth time travelling to Japan, but it will be my first to travel as a student (also the first to travel alone!). I’m truly excited for what may come to me during this immersion program. I’m excited to meet new people, as I will learn more about their daily lifestyle and culture. Visiting sites, eating good food, and having camaraderie among all that I will be with in this trip is something that I am excited for. Even though that the program has not yet started, I can’t explain the gladness that I am experiencing as I am truly grateful for this opportunity.
