DEPARTURE

Our flight to Japan was on May 13, 2018. We all met up at NAIA 2 Terminal around 9-10 PM. The excitement I felt was bubbling within me and it couldn’t be contained by the moment. We took pictures around the airport and started getting to know each other. We had already met each other during the orientation but there was something about sharing this trip together that made it more intimate and made us all fast friends.

Soon, we would be in Japan and everything that’s been building up would finally happen. As I get into the plane, I wonder: “What has this trip lie in store for me?”
