My first day of school was filled with feelings of anxiousness and excitement. I was in awe when I first saw the school. It looked small but, really, it wasn't at all. We were given a surprise when we first set foot in their auditorium. They managed to learn our De La Salle hymn and that made all of our, exchange students, hearts swell. We were deeply moved and our faces were filled with laughter and smiles. As I was looking all around the room- their gleeful faces were all engraved in my mind. I never felt any negative vibe from them- the way they welcomed us felt so sincere and I wish that people from everywhere would be the same as they were the time that they saw us. I loved how they were so comforting and patient. They tried their hardest to communicate With us and it really made me feel like I wasn't a burden to be with.
I met there my new group of friends named, Hiyori, Rioppe, Mao, Hiro, Yuka, and Marimo. I felt right at home immediately during my first full day in class. They showcased how their school worked and it's amazing or as they would say, "Sugoi!". I saw how disciplined and active they were in the activities that they did. It showed that they really love the course that they're taking and they always gave their full-on effort in every single thing that they do. They are really admirable. All this was just on our first day of class- I couldn't image the next days after but I felt that it would be better each time around.
