The next day after our arrival, our time came to go to what this trip was really about, the exchange program. We woke up early in the morning so that we wouldn’t be late and miss the train to the school. This was one of the first times that we commuted around Japan and I was amazed at how streamlined their commute is and how easy it was to access far away places with a single ride.
On the journey to the school, I was getting nervous thinking about what would happen in the exchange program. We arrived at the school at around 8:30 in the morning so we had time to admire the beauty of the campus. Everything was so open and big, they had one main building and other smaller buildings for different purposes. The time came for us to go inside and to our pleasant surprise, the students of NITAC were waiting for us in their AVR and sung the DLSU Hymn as we entered the room. The people were very friendly and welcoming and we got to meet our Japanese buddies. This first day was very memorable and it’s sure to be an experience that I won’t forget
