It was the first day of school in NITAC, we were so excited to go yet really exhausted due to the trip. As we arrived the school, our group was surprised and thrilled as we were greeted by a room filled with students and teachers that were singing our school song.

After the greeting, we had to go to our respective classes. As I went to my class, I was then greeted by my buddy named 天太 (tienta). He is an energetic, friendly guy who introduced me to the class and my seat which made me more driven to study. During the classes, I noticed many similarities compared to the classes in the Philippines. However, the students always seem determined to learn as for the Philippines, not so much because it maybe how the teacher treats them with no pressure but with comfort and joy. Later, my group had an icebreaker with the students. My group introduced and gave Filipino snacks to groups of students and played with them. In my group of Japanese students, we played Uno, which is a universal game in my opinion, where we had fun and made lots of laughs.
