Chapter 2: A Road Taken

As we walk each mile in the land of the rising sun, we weren’t just forming new memories, creating laughs, and exploring the city. This time, we were walking towards an avenue to learn. From the English to Architecture Design, each class were oozing with fun and laughter, as well as being educational. Despite my initial thoughts, I was actually able to engage in our English class (we were used to correctly answer the word problems) and learn about SketchUp in our design class. We also had a free time after were we traveled around the area.

But the most memorable time we had that day was the trip to the Caterpillar plant. At first, the way towards the place was hot and long. It felt like it wasn’t worth the walk until we got there. The Caterpillar Plant was famous for its worldwide renowned machinery that paved way for many infrastructures, roads, and advancements to rise. It was such an honor being there and being able to learn from the people who work there. Getting the chance to tour the place was such a surreal experience and seeing how they create each machine and the vast amount manufactured each day.

Every time our feet touches the ground, we create new memories and each step we took lead us towards this fun and enriching journey I could never forget.
