Japanese Aesthetics

I've been to many places and countries in my life, some being from other continents, even, but nothing can truly compare to Japan's beauty. For the past week, we have been going around the Kobe area, going to malls and shrines. I can't exactly place what it is, but whether it's a busy street or by the seaside, there's a certain aesthetic that just captures me every time.
Maybe it's the peacefulness of backend streets and barely filled trains late at night, or perhaps it's the culturally charged energy that can be felt everywhere, or it's the bustling shopping areas filled with a sea of people, or the kindness and smiles that everyone offers, regardless of who they are.
Either way, Japan is beautiful. And I don't just mean what you can see, I'm also referring to everything about it. The customs, the people, the food... the way Japan does things, even simple everyday things, is something I can really appreciate.
I believe this is one of the things that makes Japan stand out; they’re so meticulous with their culture, somehow preserving what once was with the future. Culture from long past is still being used and celebrated, yet they are able to advance further with technology.
